Tronador Volcano Day Trip

Description

The tour departs from Bariloche, traveling south alongside the Gutierrez and Mascardi lakes, offering views of La Pampa, characterized by its lakes, rivers, and the Andes mountains.

Continuing on the eastern shore of Mascardi Lake, we divert into the Andes. After crossing a bridge over the Manso River, we follow the rapids and explore the eastern branch of Mascardi Lake, stopping at the Piuke island viewpoint to admire its unique heart shape.

The journey progresses through the Los Vuriloches Valley towards Pampa Linda, where free time for lunch is provided. Post lunch, we proceed to the base of the Tronador Volcano, featuring sights of the Ventisquero Negro glacier and Lago Manso. This area showcases magnificent ice floes from the volcano.

We conclude by visiting nearby waterfalls before returning to Bariloche, with the full tour lasting approximately 9 hours.
