Tronador Volcano Day Trip

Description

The tour to Tronador (Thundering) Volcano starts from Bariloche and takes you through the beautiful landscape of La Pampa, characterized by lakes, rivers, and the imposing Andes mountains. Along the way, you will pass by Gutierrez and Mascardi lakes, cross the Manso River, and visit the Piuke island viewpoint with its unique heart-shaped form.

After reaching Pampa Linda, a mountain refuge, you'll have time for lunch before continuing to the foot of the Tronador Volcano. Here, you can admire the Ventisquero Negro glacier and Lago Manso, witnessing the stunning ice floes descending from the volcano. The tour also includes a visit to nearby waterfalls before returning to Bariloche after a total of 9 hours.
