Anaga Rural Park Hike
Our hike will depart from the Visitors Centre located next to the Cruz del Carmen Hermitage. We'll set off on a three-hour easy hike through the spectacular Anaga Rural Park, declared a Nature Reserve in 2015 and known for its range of plants and wildlife.
During the hike, we'll explore the famous laurel forests in the Anaga mountain range. A local guide will accompany us, providing insights into the plant species we encounter, as this region supports the highest number of native species in Europe.
After experiencing the impressive variety of plants and wildlife in Anaga, we will return to the meeting point to conclude our hike.
Children under 5 years old
Children under 5 years old are permitted on the route if accompanied by parents or guardians; however, this activity is not recommended for them. Parents may also take children under 2 years of age, but they must be carried in a baby carrier.
