Cueva del Indio + Páramo Tour

The region of Santander is known for its tradition and nature. This tour includes a visit to the iconic Cueva del Indio, where you will explore the cave, greet bats, and swim in a natural pool.

Description

After pickup from your hotel, we will travel from Barichara to the countryside of Santander, arriving at Cueva del Indio after 3.5 hours. You will descend 80 meters (262 feet) into the cave, where bats will greet us. We will navigate through the cave, exploring its rocky walls and reaching a chamber with warm splashing water.

During the exploration, you will observe stalagmites and stalactites. We will slide through rocks and pass through tunnels, leading to natural pools. Adventurous guests can jump 10 meters (32 feet) into fresh water.

After exiting the cave, we will return to the motorway and make a stop at Páramo to explore the town, known for its exotic landscapes and colonial architecture.

Pickup

Pickup will be from your accommodation in either San Gil or Barichara. If you are in Barichara, pickup will occur 30 minutes after San Gil.
