Chianti Wine Tour

On our Chianti Wine Tour from San Gimignano, we will see vineyard landscapes, taste regional wines, and visit villages in the Chianti Valley.

Chianti Wine Tour

We will pick you up at Porta San Giovanni at the scheduled time. After boarding a minibus, we will set off to explore the Chianti Valley.

Our first stop will be Castellina in Chianti, where you will have free time to visit this town, its churches, and its castle, La Rocca.

Next, we will stop at a winery for a guided tour of its facilities and vineyards. The tour will cover the stages of preparation for Chianti wine, including information about Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

Following the tour, we will enjoy a tasting of Chianti wine accompanied by a selection of Italian cured meats.

We will then proceed to a second winery, where we will taste additional varieties of Chianti Valley wine and appetizers. This stop also includes tasting olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Before returning to San Gimignano, we will visit Monteriggioni, a medieval village. After six hours of sightseeing, we will drop you off at the meeting point in San Gimignano.
