How is the most popular Emilia-Romagna product made? All will be revealed on this tour of the Piadina Experience Rimini Museum guided tour, where you'll also enjoy a delicious tasting.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the main entrance to the Piadina Experience to begin our guided visit around this famous foodie museum, located in the suburbs of Rimini.

The piadina, a flatbread made with wheat flour, typically stuffed with ham and other foods, is one of the most popular Emilia-Romagna products. We'll start with the origins of the piadina, which dates back to the Neolithic age.

We will explore how this bread became a staple product, whose traditional recipe has been maintained through generations in Emilia-Romagna. The tour includes the Piadinia e Motori room, highlighting the local enthusiasm for both this product and motor racing competitions.

Afterward, we will visit the tasting room to try a piadina. This will be followed by insights in the Magic Room about the alchemical secrets of wheat and other piadina ingredients.

Lastly, we will walk through the Panoramic Tunnel to observe the various preparation phases for piadina: dough preparation, resting, baking at different temperatures, and the incorporation of modern technology to enhance the process while preserving tradition and quality. The tour lasts 1.5 hours and concludes at the starting point.
