How is the most popular Emilia-Romagna product made? All will be revealed on this tour of the Piadina Experience Rimini Museum guided tour, where you'll also enjoy a delicious tasting.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the main entrance to the Piadina Experience to begin our guided visit around this famous foodie museum, located in the suburbs of Rimini.

The piadina, a flatbread made with wheat flour, usually stuffed with ham and other foods, is one of the most popular Emilia-Romagna products. We'll start our museum tour by learning about the origins of the piadina dating back to the Neolithic age.

We will continue discovering how this bread gained popularity, with a traditional recipe passed down through generations in Emilia-Romagna. The visit will include the Piadinia e Motori room, highlighting the regional passion for both this product and motor racing competitions.

Next, we'll proceed to the tasting room to try a delicious piadina. After this, we'll continue exploring the Magic Room to learn about the alchemical secrets of wheat and the other piadina ingredients.

Lastly, we'll traverse the Panoramic Tunnel to observe various preparation phases of the piadina: dough preparation, resting, and baking at different temperatures. The tour will also showcase how modern technology enhances the process while maintaining tradition and quality. After a 1.5-hour tour, we will end where we began.
