At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in San José and depart for the Arenal area.

First, we will stop in the town of Sarchí, known for its Costa Rican handicrafts. After this, we'll drive through pineapple and mango plantations to Arenal Volcano National Park, near La Fortuna.

Lunch will be served at a traditional restaurant, offering beef, chicken, fish, vegetables, salad, rice and beans, pasta, vegetable stew, dessert, and local fruit juice.

During lunch, enjoy views of the volcano, which last erupted on July 29, 1968. It remains the most active volcano in Costa Rica.

After visiting the craters, relax in thermal waters, either at Hotel Los Lagos Resort & Spa La Fortuna or the more luxurious Ecotermales La Fortuna, as chosen during booking. These pools originate from the Arenal Volcano and are surrounded by tropical gardens.

The day concludes with a delicious dinner before returning to your hotel in San José, arriving approximately 15 hours after pickup.
