At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San José and depart for the Arenal Volcano region. First, we will stop in the town of Sarchí, known for Costa Rican handicrafts. Following this, we'll drive through pineapple and mango plantations to the entrance of the Arenal Volcano National Park, near La Fortuna.

We will have lunch in a traditional restaurant with options for beef, chicken, fish, vegetables, salad, rice and beans, pasta and vegetable stew, followed by dessert and local fruit juice. During lunch, you can enjoy views of the volcano, which became active on July 29, 1968.

After visiting the crater, you will relax in the thermal waters at either the Hotel Los Lagos Resort & Spa La Fortuna or the more luxurious Ecotermales La Fortuna, as per your booking choice. These pools originate from the Arenal Volcano and are set in tropical gardens.

To conclude the day, we will have a delicious dinner before returning to your hotel in San José, with an estimated arrival 15 hours after pickup.
