At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San José and depart for one of the most beautiful natural areas of Costa Rica.

First, we'll stop to visit the town of Sarchí, known for Costa Rican handicrafts. Following this stop, we’ll drive through pineapple and mango plantations to the entrance of the Arenal Volcano National Park, located just outside La Fortuna.

Here, we'll enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant. The menu includes beef, chicken, or fish, vegetables, salad, rice and beans, pasta with vegetable stew, plus dessert and local fruit juice.

While having lunch, enjoy views of the volcano, which recorded its last period of activity on July 29, 1968. Since then, it has produced gases and steam, making it the most active volcano in Costa Rica.

After visiting one of the most famous craters, we'll relax in the thermal waters, available at the Hotel Los Lagos Resort & Spa La Fortuna or the more luxurious Ecotermales La Fortuna, depending on your booking choice. These pools have origins in the Arenal Volcano and are surrounded by tropical gardens.

To end the day, we'll have a delicious dinner and then return to your hotel in San José, arriving approximately 15 hours after pickup.
