Day 1: San José

Upon your arrival at Juan Santamaría International Airport, you will be taken to your hotel in San José. Prepare for an extensive exploration of Costa Rica over the next 13 days.

Day 2: San José - Tortuguero

Departure from San José will occur early in the morning with a transit through Braulio Carrillo National Park, including a breakfast stop at a local restaurant. Arrival at Tortuguero National Park will lead to a boat cruise through its rivers and canals, followed by lunch at the lodge. The afternoon includes a tour of the town and a visit to the turtle community.

Day 3: Tortuguero National Park

You will have the morning free at the hotel. In the afternoon, an excursion to Tortuguero National Park is scheduled, focusing on diverse flora and over 350 protected animal species.

Day 4: Tortuguero - Arenal

Early morning transfer to Guápiles by boat followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Continuance to Arenal allows for an afternoon of leisure.

Day 5: Arenal Volcano National Park

Morning tour of Arenal Volcano National Park, exploring the volcano and local wildlife. The afternoon is free for personal activities.

Day 6: Arenal - Monteverde

After breakfast, depart Arenal for Monteverde with a boat transfer across Lake Arenal. The afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 7: Monteverde

Guided hike through Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve to observe local wildlife, followed by return to the hotel.

Day 8: Monteverde - Pacific Coast - Tamarindo

Transfer to the Pacific Coast with free time at the beach, concluding with an overnight stay at Tamarindo.

Day 9: Tamarindo

Free day to enjoy the beaches of Tamarindo.

Day 10: Tamarindo

Another full day dedicated to beach relaxation.

Day 11: Tamarindo

Enjoy your final free day in Tamarindo.

Day 12: Tamarindo - San José

Post-breakfast, a journey back to San José allows time for independent exploration.

Day 13: San José

Final breakfast will precede your transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport.
