Crocodile Safari on the Tarcoles River
We'll pick you up from your hotel in San Jose at 7 am and set off for the Tarcoles River to meet some very special reptiles!
After an hour's journey, we'll arrive at the Tarcoles River, where we'll hop on a boat and sail off to meet the crocodiles! This area is home to one of the largest crocodile populations in the world.
We'll spend two hours sailing the waters of the river as we learn about these iconic animals. They can be up to five metres long.
We'll also visit the Guacalillo Estuary, where we'll see an impressive ecosystem made up of four types of mangroves. At the end of the trip, we'll enjoy a typical lunch at the South Beach Hotel in Jacó.
At the end of this experience, we'll return to your hotels in San José by around 6 pm.
