Crocodile Safari on the Tarcoles River

We'll pick you up from your hotel in San Jose at 7 am and set off for the Tarcoles River. After an hour's journey, we'll arrive at the river and board a boat to encounter the crocodiles! This area is recognized for one of the largest crocodile populations in the world.

We will spend two hours navigating the river while learning about these iconic animals, which can be up to five metres long.

Additionally, we'll visit the Guacalillo Estuary, showcasing an ecosystem with four types of mangroves. After the tour, we will have a typical lunch at the South Beach Hotel in Jacó before returning to San José, arriving around 6 pm.
