Day Trip to Tortuga Island

On this day trip to Tortuga Island from San José, you will experience Costa Rica's tropical landscapes.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in San José and head to Tortuga Island in the Gulf of Nicoya. After approximately 2 hours on the road, we will arrive in Puntarenas and board a catamaran for a 2-hour scenic sail. Onboard, you can enjoy fruit, ceviche, drinks, entertainment, and a DJ.

Upon arrival at Tortuga Island, you will have 5 hours of free time to explore the area. Activities include beach volleyball, swimming, and sunbathing. A delicious lunch will be provided, featuring fish or chicken fillets, rice, sautéed vegetables, salads, sangria, and Costa Rican coffee.

Afterward, we will return to the catamaran for the journey back to Puntarenas, concluding our trip with hotel drop-off in San José for a total of 15 hours.

For an upgraded experience, you can choose to include a day trip with 5 alcoholic drinks. Options include 4 different Costa Rican beers and 6 types of national and international spirits. This option is only for adults, while children will have the same price as the standard trip without alcoholic drinks.
