Food Tour of San José

We'll meet at the scheduled time in front of the Casa de Cacao in the Escalante neighbourhood in the east of San José. This district has become a gastronomic and cultural paradise.

This is the starting point of this tour, in which we'll visit the Escalante neighbourhood, the Amón and Otoya neighbourhoods, to taste traditional Costa Rican flavours. We'll make three stops to enjoy the city's cuisine.

First, we'll walk through the streets of the Escalante neighbourhood, enjoying its Art Nouveau architecture, and we will begin by visiting a coffee shop for delicious Costa Rican chocolate.

Next, we'll head to a typical food restaurant to taste delicacies cooked in a wood-fired oven. Our next stop will be a contemporary restaurant, where you can savour a Costa Rican dish with a modern twist.

Finally, we'll enter the lively Paseo Gastronómico La Luz, home to a high concentration of restaurants. Here we'll enjoy a liqueur ice cream. The gastronomic tour of San José will conclude 3 to 4 hours after the start.
