We'll pick you up from your hotel in San José and head to the province of Cartago, home to the Irazu Volcano. Along the route, we'll admire fertile lands and local flora and fauna.

At 3,432 meters high (11,259 feet), the Irazu Volcano is the most active volcano in Costa Rica. We'll explore one of its craters and see a fascinating green lake. Views of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans are also included.

Next, we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels in Cartago and then travel to the Lankester Gardens to admire over 800 species of orchids and plants.

A traditional Costa Rican meal will be provided, including rice, beans, salad, meat (chicken, fish, or pork), dessert, and a refreshing drink.

We will then proceed to the Orosi and Ujarrás Valley, known for its beautiful mountains, coffee, and sugar cane farms. This area has a rich historical significance, including colonial settlements and events like pirate attacks and natural disasters. It is also notable for the Franciscan Order, who established some of the first Catholic churches.

At the end of the tour, we'll return you to your hotel in San José after 11.5 hours of cultural adventure.
