La Paz Waterfall, Celeste River & Hot Springs Tour

Discover the most beautiful nooks of inland Costa Rica with this excursion to the La Paz waterfall, the Celeste River and the hot springs of the Poás Volcano – a trip you won't forget!

Description

Between 8 and 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head to the La Paz waterfall through the Sarapiqui Mountains. This waterfall stands over 120 feet high amidst dense vegetation, offering opportunities to see tropical birds, endemic frogs and butterflies.

Following this, we will proceed to the pools of the Celeste River near the village of Bajos del Toro. Here, we will cross a suspension bridge to take in the beautiful turquoise lagoons. You can jump in for a refreshing swim.

Next, we will visit the hot springs heated by the Poás Volcano, where a delicious lunch consisting of rice, beans, meat, and a drink will be served. Following lunch, you can enjoy another swim and relax before we return to San José.

The excursion concludes with your return to your hotel, arriving between 5 and 6 pm.
