La Paz Waterfall, Celeste River & Hot Springs Tour

Discover the most beautiful nooks of inland Costa Rica with this excursion to the La Paz waterfall, the Celeste River, and the hot springs of the Poás Volcano – a trip you won't forget!

Description

Between 8 and 9 am, we will pick you up at your hotel and depart for the La Paz waterfall through the Sarapiqui Mountains.

Upon arrival at this over 120 feet high waterfall, surrounded by dense vegetation, you will have the opportunity to take photos and potentially spot tropical birds, endemic frogs, and butterflies.

Following this, we will proceed to the pools of the Celeste River, near the village of Bajos del Toro. Here, we will cross a suspension bridge and enjoy the turquoise lagoons. You can also swim in the water for a refreshing experience.

Next, we will visit hot springs heated by the Poás Volcano, where a delicious lunch of rice, beans, meat, and a drink will be provided. After lunch, you have the option to swim again and relax before we return to San José.

The tour concludes with your return to the hotel, arriving between 5 and 6 pm.
