Pacuare River Rafting

After pickup from your hotel in San José, we will proceed to the Pacuare River, known for its excellent rafting conditions. The tour offers stunning views of waterfalls, cataracts, and trails, along with diverse fauna and flora.

Initially, a safety talk will prepare us for any situation. We will then navigate a thrilling 5-mile (8 km) stretch down one of Costa Rica's best rapids. Once in the Pacuare Valley, we will take another 5-mile tour, offering opportunities to observe local wildlife, including white-faced monkeys, sloths, squirrels, hummingbirds, and toucans.

After our adventures, we will enjoy a traditional Costa Rican meal consisting of rice, beans, salad, and a choice of chicken, fish, or pork, along with picadillo, plantain, and juice. A vegetarian or gluten-free menu is available upon request at the time of booking.

The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in San José.

Hotel Pickup

The tour includes pickup and return transfer to main hotels in San José. If your hotel is in a remote area, you will be informed of the designated meeting point.
