Pacuare River Rafting

After picking you up from your hotel in San José, we head to the Pacuare River. Throughout the tour, you will experience breathtaking scenery featuring waterfalls, cataracts, and trails, along with diverse flora and fauna.

The tour begins with a safety talk to ensure preparedness for any situation. We will then navigate a thrilling 5-mile (8 km) route down some of the best rapids in Costa Rica.

Upon reaching Pacuare Valley, we will continue with another 5-mile tour to observe the local flora and fauna. Sightings may include white-faced monkeys, sloths, squirrels, hummingbirds, and toucans.

After an adventurous day, we will enjoy a traditional Costa Rican meal, which includes rice, beans, salad, a choice of chicken, fish or pork, picadillo, plantain, and juice. A vegetarian or gluten-free option can be requested at the time of booking.

The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in San José.

Hotel Pickup

The tour includes pickup and transfer to and from the main hotels in San José. If your hotel is in a remote area, you will be informed of the meeting point.
