Following hotel pickup in San José, travel to the Braulio Carrillo National Park, which spans over 117,500 acres (47,000 hectares) between the Central Valley and the Caribbean. This park features volcanoes, 6000 plant species, and 515 bird species.

Your adventure begins with a boat trip down the Sarapiqui River, where you'll navigate through the rainforest and observe its wildlife, including monkeys, iguanas, and various birds.

Next, you'll hike on the private trails of the Selva Verda Eco Lodge, exploring the tropical rainforest with toucans, capuchin monkeys, and howler monkeys.
