Tortuguero National Park 2 or 3-Day Tour

On this 2 or 3-day tour of Tortuguero National Park, you'll explore the wild nature of Costa Rica and sleep in an exclusive jungle lodge.

Description

Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel for the 2-day tour of Tortuguero National Park. The first stop is in Guápiles for breakfast. We will then head to the La Pavona dock and board a boat along the Suerte River.

During the journey, we'll enjoy views of the Costa Rican riverside nature and arrive at the lodge around 12:00 noon. After settling in, we'll have lunch and visit the village of Tortuguero to learn about its relationship with turtles. We will return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 2

In the morning, we'll visit Tortuguero National Park, exploring its natural attractions and the largest wetland in the country. After the park visit, we’ll return to the lodge for breakfast and proceed back to La Pavona dock, then return to your hotel around noon.

3-day tour

For the 3-day tour, after breakfast on the second day, we'll revisit Tortuguero National Park for lunch at the lodge. The day will be spent hiking through trails and beaches, immersing in nature. On the third day, after breakfast, we will take you back to your hotel.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 or 2 nights of full board accommodation at Laguna Lodge, Tortuguero. A supplement for a single room applies for odd-numbered reservations.

Departures are available from San José and Guápiles:

If you choose the San José option, pickup is between 5:30 and 6:45 am.If you choose Guápiles, pickup is from Restaurante Senderos Río Blanco at 10:30 am.
