Tortuguero National Park 2 or 3-Day Tour

On this 2 or 3-day tour of Tortuguero National Park, you'll explore the nature of Costa Rica and sleep in an exclusive jungle lodge.

Description

Day 1

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel to start the 2-day tour of Tortuguero National Park. Our first stop will be in Guápiles for breakfast. Afterward, we will travel to the La Pavona dock and board a boat to sail along the Suerte River.

Enjoy views of typical Costa Rican riverside nature as we reach the Tortuguero River and arrive at the lodge around 12:00 noon. After settling in, lunch will be served at the restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the village of Tortuguero to experience the local culture and learn about the relationship between residents and turtles. We will return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 2

We will begin the day early at Tortuguero National Park, exploring its natural attractions, including the turtle nesting beach and diverse flora and fauna. Afterward, we will return to the lodge for breakfast, and then depart back to La Pavona dock.

Finally, you will be returned to your hotel around midday.

3-day tour

For those who wish to spend an additional night at the lodge, the 3-day tour can be booked. Following breakfast on the second day, we will revisit Tortuguero National Park.

We will have lunch at the lodge and spend the day hiking the trails and beaches of the area. On the third day, after breakfast, we will return you to your hotel.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 or 2 nights of full board accommodation at Laguna Lodge in Tortuguero. A supplement will be applied for single rooms if the reservation is for an odd number of people.

The tour has departures from San José and Guápiles:

If you choose the option from San José, pickup is between 5:30 and 6:45 am.If you choose the option from Guápiles, pickup will be from Restaurante Senderos Río Blanco at 10:30 am.
