Dique Punta Negra Stand Up Paddle

Activity Description

At the agreed time, we’ll depart from your hotel in San Juan to the Dique Punta Negra dam, located on the outskirts of the city.

Upon arrival at the dam's jetty, a specialized instructor will teach you how to handle the paddles and the paddle surfboard. This sport, known as SUP or Stand Up Paddle, requires no prior experience; enthusiasm is key.

The instructor will demonstrate basic techniques of paddle surfing, including simple turns and hand changes. Though it may seem challenging to maintain balance, you will find it manageable.

After the instruction, you will apply your skills and begin paddling on the Dique Punta Negra reservoir. The low current in the area makes it ideal for paddle surfing without frequent falls.

The activity lasts for 1 hour, after which we will return to your hotel in San Juan.

Meeting Point

If preferred, you can arrive independently at the jetty of the Dique Punta Negra dam. In this case, we recommend booking the Zonda activity: a paddle surfing course at the Dique Punta Negra dam.
