Kayaking in the Punta Negra Dam

On this tour from San Juan, you'll kayak through the Dique Punta Negra reservoir. You can choose between a guided kayak tour or renting equipment to kayak at your own pace.

Kayaking in the Punta Negra Dam

From your hotel in San Juan, we will pick you up at the selected time and take you to the pier of the Punta Negra reservoir.

Upon arrival at the pier, inform the instructor if you wish to rent a kayak for independent paddling or join a kayak tour around the reservoir. Both activities will last one hour.

Renting a kayak allows you to paddle at your own pace while enjoying views of the dam's turbines and the Andes foothills. Participants in the kayak tour will receive informative insights about the area. The Punta Negra Dam has been a popular recreational reservoir since its inauguration in 2015.

After the activity, all equipment must be returned at the dock, from where we will return you to your hotel in San Juan.

About the kayaks

At the pier, you can choose between an individual or a double kayak. Prices are per person, not per boat.

If preferred, you can go directly to the pier of the Dique Punta Negra dam on your own.
