Twilight Tour of Old San Juan
Our adventure begins at the renowned Plaza Colón, where we’ll gather promptly. Get ready to embark on a journey through time! Over the course of 2 hours, we will meander through the enchanting streets of old San Juan, unveiling stories and architectural gems that trace back to 1493. One of the highlights will be witnessing the beauty of the city at dusk.
As dusk descends, we’ll make our way to the Plaza de la Barandilla, home to the stunning Baldority de Castro school. From this picturesque spot, we will proceed to the Plaza de Armas, where the striking Town Hall and the Fountain of the Four Seasons await our admiration.
The exploration continues to the impressive Old Palace of the Intendencia, one of the historic treasures of the old town. Not to be missed, we will also admire the Chapel of Santo Cristo de la Salud, the San Juan fortress, and the Palace of Santa Catalina, all of which are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Next, we’ll stroll along the renowned San Sebastián street, famous for hosting one of Puerto Rico's key celebrations. As we near the San Juan Cathedral, we will delve into its history and visit the tomb of Juan Ponce de León.
Our journey will lead us to the Ballajá Barracks and the majestic Castle of San Felipe del Morro, Puerto Rico’s most significant historical landmark. Experiencing these sites during the sunset is truly an unforgettable moment!
Our final stop will be at the Plaza de San José, where the guided experience will conclude two hours after we commenced.
