Itinerary
At the indicated time we'll meet in the central Plaza de Colón, from where we'll begin our private walking tour of the Puerto Rican capital. Passing alongside the San Cristobal Fortress and the Alejandro Theatre, we'll discuss the Spanish occupation and its influence. We'll view the iconic Casino and the original traces of the old city walls.
As we stroll, we'll see the characteristic coloured houses of Calle Fortaleza. While discussing the battles against the British and Dutch, we'll arrive at the Las Palmas Bastion, the main defensive nucleus in San Juan, offering incredible views.
The tour includes interesting facts: the first piña colada was made in a bar in San Juan, and the narrowest house in America is located here. We'll visit both sites before continuing along Calle del Cristo.
At Calle del Cristo, we'll find a chapel surrounded by mystery and a legend to uncover. Our last stop will be the Totem, a great obelisk honoring the island's indigenous peoples.
Finally, the tour will end after 2 hours in front of the symbol of San Juan: the Morro Fortress.
