1, 2, 3... 5, 6, 7! We'll meet on Ashford Avenue in San Juan to learn how to count Puerto Rican salsa and the basic steps. Once these are mastered, your hips will loosen up for salsa dancing!

We'll enjoy this salsa class for one hour in the park. We'll teach you how to control the rhythm in your body, starting with foot positioning and marking synchronized steps with a kettledrum. You'll feel the music's excitement and engage with every note and movement.

After learning the basic steps, we'll explore the spins unique to Boricua salsa with a partner. This repetition and practice will help develop your rhythm in the knees and hips, delivering an authentic Latin experience.
