Puertorican Salsa Class in San Juan

In this Purto Rican salsa class, you'll learn to dance in the purest Boricua style in the heart of San Juan.

Activity Details

We'll meet on Ashford Avenue in San Juan to learn how to count Puerto Rican salsa and the basic steps. Once we master these, you'll start to dance salsa. The class lasts one hour and will include music in the park. We’ll teach you how to control the rhythm in your body, starting with foot positioning and marking your synchronized steps with a kettledrum. This will enhance your connection to the music.

After learning the steps, we will practice spins unique to Boricua salsa with your partner. Through repetition and practice, you will develop your rhythm naturally.
