San Juan Old Town + El Morro Castle Tour

Get ready for an adventure back in time to the cobblestone streets of San Juan Old Town! This tour will take us through Puerto Rico's passionate history, and we'll even visit the majestic San Felipe del Morro Castle.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Plaza Dársenas Square to begin this walking tour around San Juan Old Town. We'll explore the streets of Viejo San Juan, visiting iconic spots such as the cathedral of San Juan Bautista, one of the oldest in Latin America. We'll continue our exploration until we reach the Governor's Mansion.

Nearby, we will find the Puerta de San Juan and Plaza de Armas Square, where we will see the façade of the City Hall. After discovering these iconic sites, we'll make our way to the San Felipe del Morro Castle.

We will head inside the ancient fortress that exemplifies colonial militaristic architecture. We will recount the castle's history and the battles against British, Dutch, and pirate invaders.

After 2.5 hours, we'll conclude the tour and say our goodbyes at the entrance to El Morro Castle.
