Valle de Calingasta Trip
At 7 am, pick-up will be from your hotel in San Juan. The first stop will be at the Cerro Villicum hill for scenic views.
Next, the tour will proceed through the town of Talacasto and the Quebrada de las Burras gorge, leading to the Calingasta Valley. In the town of Barreal, you will have one hour for lunch (not included).
After lunch, we will visit El Leoncito National Park, known for its landscapes and native fauna, including the suri cordillerano and guanaco.
The tour continues with a visit to the Astronomical Observatory of El Leoncito, where you will learn about celestial studies conducted in this area free of light pollution. The final stop will be at Cerro Alcázar hill for panoramic views.
Your return to the hotel in San Juan is scheduled for 6 pm.
