After the Mexican Revolution, Armadillo was abandoned. This hiking tour includes a transfer from San Luis Potosi to explore the ghost town.

Pickup is at 8:30 am from your hotel in San Luis Potosi for a drive to Armadillo de los Infante, named after the family that brought the first printing press to the area.

Between the 17th and 19th centuries, the municipality experienced prosperity. However, in the early 20th century, the Mexican Revolution led to Armadillo becoming a ghost town. This tour will allow you to discover its remains.

The hiking route spans 9.7 kilometres (6 miles), taking you through abandoned buildings and monuments. This simple hike will involve elevations between 134 and 148 metres (436 and 485 feet) as we uncover the town's forgotten history.

At the conclusion of the hike, we'll visit the 1600 Restaurante, where you can enjoy dishes from Potosí gastronomy, a blend of pre-Columbian and colonial cuisines.

After lunch, we will return to your hotel in San Luis Potosi, arriving at 5:30 pm.
