Rappelling at the Tamul Waterfall

After picking you up at your hotel in San Luis Potosí at 6:45 am, we will travel by minibus to the small town of Tanchachín, about four hours away.

Upon arrival, we will go on a hiking route to the area for the rappelling activity. We'll cross the jungle of the Huasteca Potosina region and admire the lush vegetation along the Gallinas River.

We will encounter the emblematic Tamul waterfall, which is the largest waterfall in San Luis Potosí, standing 105 meters (344 feet) tall.

After setting up with safety equipment and learning basic rules, it will be time to start rappelling down the waterfall. We will descend from one side of this natural monument, allowing for a unique view of the surrounding landscape.

We will be splashed by the cascade waters, providing a refreshing and fun experience. The activity will last approximately two hours, after which we will walk back to Tanchachín, where you will have an hour of free time to eat at a local restaurant.

With renewed energy, we will return to the minibus. The activity will finish at 8 pm, returning you to your hotel in San Luis Potosí.
