On this sightseeing tour of San Luis Potosi, we'll admire the highlights of this former mining city nestled on the very Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, a very important historic trail.

San Luis Potosi Sightseeing Tour

At 10 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Luis Potosi. There we'll board a minibus that'll take us to tour the city's main attractions in the most comfortable way.

We'll begin our panoramic sightseeing tour of San Luis Potosi in the historic center, passing through the four main squares of the city: the Plaza de Fundadores, the Plaza del Carmen, the Plaza de San Francisco, and the Plaza de Armas. In each of them, we'll learn about the Colonial, Baroque, and Neoclassical buildings that embellish these squares.

Next, we'll stop at the Plaza de Armas to admire the Metropolitan Cathedral with its beautiful Baroque façade, the Government Palace, and the Palacio Municipal Cultural Center.

The tour will continue to the Sanctuary Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, notable for its Neoclassical architecture. The last stop will be at the Centro de las Artes de San Luis Potosi, located in a former prison, housing the Leonora Carrington Surrealist Sculpture Museum.

The sightseeing tour will end at 2 pm, dropping you off back at your hotel.
