At 10 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel and start our trip to Santa Maria del Rio, one of the four magical villages in the state of San Luis Potosi. After an hour's drive, we'll arrive in Santa Maria del Rio, known for being the place where the rebozo, a type of shawl, originated. Our first stop will be a workshop where this traditional garment is crafted, allowing you to learn about its production using ancient techniques.

Next, we'll visit the Casa del Rebozo, dedicated to the preservation and promotion of this traditional clothing item. Through its interactive exhibit, we'll learn about the origin of the rebozo, its making process, the types of stitches, the spools of thread, and historical artifacts.

Our next destination will be the Church of the Assumption, a notable example of colonial religious architecture in Santa Maria del Rio. This building, part of the 17th-century Franciscan convent, is surrounded by handicraft stores and traditional bakeries.

Lastly, we'll end this tour by dropping you off at your hotel at 2:30 pm.
