Tamul Waterfall & Cueva del Agua Excursion

Visit the largest waterfall in the state of San Luis Potosí on this excursion to the Tamul waterfall. We'll take a boat ride on the Tampaón River and you'll be able to swim in the famous Cueva del Agua.

Tamul Waterfall & Cueva del Agua Excursion

After picking you up at your hotel in San Luis Potosí at 6:45 am, we'll travel by minibus to Tanchachín, about four hours away.

Upon arrival, we'll head to the Tampaón River where we'll board a boat for a ride to the Tamul waterfall, observing the surrounding vegetation and birds.

We'll appreciate the height of these waterfalls, exceeding 100 meters (328 feet). During the visit, we'll explain the formation of the waterfall and share legends associated with this natural monument.

The boat ride will take us to Cueva del Agua, where you'll have an hour of free time to swim in this cave, which is 45 meters (147 feet) deep, characterized by its sapphire blue waters.

After swimming, we'll return to dry land and provide an additional hour for lunch at a restaurant in Tanchachín before heading back to San Luis Potosí. The excursion concludes at 8 pm, returning you to your hotel.
