Day Trip to Bariloche & Villa La Angostura

Set off on an adventure along the renowned Seven Lakes Road and immerse yourself in the beauty of two enchanting locations in Patagonia. Navigate the quaint streets of Villa La Angostura and uncover the treasures of Bariloche.

Day Trip Overview

Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in downtown San Martin de los Andes at the scheduled time, as we embark on a remarkable journey along the Seven Lakes Road, a beautiful route boasting breathtaking natural scenery.

Over the course of our 115-kilometer (71.5-mile) expedition, we will traverse through verdant forests and sparkling rivers, making stops at some of Patagonia's most breathtaking lakes, such as Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo, and Nahuel Huapi.

Upon reaching Villa La Angostura around noon, we will take time to explore the lush gardens and bustling harbors of this picturesque town before visiting the charming El Messidor Residence, built in a French style and situated in the heart of the region.

Following our time in Villa La Angostura, we will proceed to San Carlos de Bariloche. Here, a visit to the Civic Center is on the agenda, followed by a leisurely walk around the waterfront. You’ll have plenty of free time to savor lunch and wander through the city at your leisure.

As the afternoon unfolds, we will retrace our steps along the same scenic route, soaking in the picturesque views during sunset. Our adventure will conclude approximately 10.5 hours later upon our return to San Martin de los Andes, where we will drop you back at your hotel, marking the end of a memorable day.
