Day Trip to Seven Lakes Route & Villa La Angostura

At 9 am, your adventure starts with a pick-up from your hotel in the heart of San Martin de los Andes. Our journey will lead us along the Seven Lakes Route, or Route 40, covering over 100 kilometers (62 miles) that weave through the Lanin and Nahuel Huapi National Parks. This route presents stunning panoramas of the Andean forests and the tranquil Neuquén lakes.

As we proceed, you will experience the picturesque beauty of lakes including Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espehi, and Nahuel Huapi, all nestled within verdant forests and framed by impressive snow-capped mountains.

Subsequently, we will reach Villa La Angostura, a delightful town located along the shores of the magnificent Nahuel Huapi Lake. Known as the "Garden of Patagonia", this area is celebrated for its beautiful gardens. You will have free time to savor a meal in the town's picturesque center.

Following lunch, we'll venture to Puerto Manzano, a region famed for its lakes, rivers, and mountainous landscapes, which are perfect for skiing, snowboarding, and fishing. Here, you can explore the area while enjoying its remarkable architecture amidst the captivating views of Manzano Bay.

Before wrapping up our journey along the Seven Lakes Route, we'll take a detour through residential areas by the Correntoso and Nahuel Huapi lakes, allowing for glimpses of some of the day’s most breathtaking vistas.

We expect to return to San Martin de los Andes around 6 pm, where you'll be dropped off back at your hotel.
