We'll spend a day riding through Coyote Canyon, exploring the natural landscape of San Miguel de Allende.

Coyote Canyon Horseback Riding Tour

Half Day Tour

At the agreed time, we'll meet in the centre of San Miguel de Allende and travel to the cattle ranch for our horseback ride. After approximately 45 minutes, we will arrive at the ranch.

Upon arrival, we will receive an overview of basic horseback riding skills. We will then embark on a two-hour ride through Coyote Canyon, descending into the canyon towards the river, where we will gallop at various points. A break will be taken before we begin our ascent. We will traverse the surrounding terrain for excellent views of the gorge.

We will return to the ranch via the same route, where a full meal will be served, featuring typical dishes such as quesadillas, nopales, rice or guacamole.

We will return to San Miguel de Allende around 2 pm.

Full Day Tour

For those with more time, a full-day horseback riding tour through the Cañada de la Virgen is available. This tour follows a similar route, including a visit to the ranch and participation in daily chores.

Participants will also have the chance to explore trails that are not accessible by horseback or enjoy a dip in the river.
