On this guided tour of San Miguel de Allende, we will explore significant landmarks and colorful streets in one of the charming cities of Guanajuato.
Tour Details
Meet us at the corner of Canal con Hidalgo Street, and we will proceed to the San Miguel Arcángel Parish, an iconic monument in the city. This monumental structure was built in European style by architect Zeferino Gutierrez, a notable figure in architectural history.
Next, we will visit the former home of captain Ignacio Allende for a detailed insight into the city's viceroyalty. We will also explore the Temple of Pure Conception and its former cloister, now the Ignacio Ramirez "El Nigromante" Cultural Center.
San Miguel de Allende was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. We will delve into this aspect and the historical context of Indigenous villages as we tour the city. The route includes a stop at the Main Square in San Miguel de Allende.
After a comprehensive 2-hour tour, we will conclude at the Casa de las Conspiraciones.
