Tour Itinerary: Explore Catamarca

We will pick you up from your hotel in Tucumán and head south towards San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca.

The tour will begin upon reaching this city, located near the Nevados del Aconquija. Our first stop will be at 25 de Mayo Square, where you can see the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Valley.

Next, we will pass by the San Francisco Church and visit the Mercado Artesanal, where you can purchase typical Catamarca sweets. You will have an hour for lunch near the market.

After lunch, we will visit a carpet factory on the outskirts of Catamarca. Following this, we will proceed to the Gruta de la Virgen del Valle, where we will discuss its historical significance.

Our last stop will be at the Monumento a la Zamba del Portezuelo, which provides views of the surroundings. After enjoying the panoramic scenery, we will begin our return journey, stopping in the town of Aguilares to explore its history.

The excursion will end with your drop-off at your hotel in Tucumán, with an estimated return time of 10 hours post pickup.
