Tour Itinerary: Explore Catamarca

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Tucumán at the scheduled time and head south toward San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca.

The Catamarca tour begins upon reaching this picturesque city in northwestern Argentina, nestled near the Nevados del Aconquija. Our first stop will be at the 25 de Mayo Square, where you can admire the facade of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Valley.

Next, we'll pass by the San Francisco Church and visit the Mercado Artesanal, where you can purchase typical Catamarca sweets. You'll then have an hour for lunch near the market.

After lunch, we'll head to the outskirts of Catamarca to explore a carpet factory. We will then proceed to the Gruta de la Virgen del Valle, home to one of the province's notable carvings, where we'll discuss its story.
