If you like making things by hand, don't miss this trip to Tafí del Valle, where we'll enjoy an artisan ceramics and fabrics workshop. Perfect for relieving any stress!
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán and head southwards.
We'll start by traversing the stunning landscapes of the Yunga jungles and the Los Sosa Gorge. Our first stop will be in El Mollar, where we will visit the Los Menhires Archaeological Reserve to discover the meaning of its iconic stone stelae.
Continuing to Tafí del Valle, one of Tucumán's most picturesque destinations, we will participate in a ceramics workshop located in a local house, focusing on creating pieces inspired by the native cultures of the Calchaquí Valleys.
After the ceramics workshop, you will have time for lunch on your own in the centre of Tafí del Valle. Post-lunch, we will meet to head to another location for a fabrics workshop, where you'll learn about the dyeing, spinning, and weaving processes used in garment manufacturing.
Lastly, we will return, stopping briefly at the Tambo La Sofía Cheese Factory to see how products are made and enjoy views of Tafí del Valle from their viewpoint. We expect to return to the hotels in San Miguel de Tucumán after approximately 9 hours together.
