- Geöffnet am Mo, Di, Mi, Do, Fr, Sa
If you like making things by hand, don't miss this trip to Tafí del Valle, where we'll enjoy an artisan ceramics and fabrics workshop.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán and proceed southwards.
The tour begins with a scenic drive through the Yunga jungles and the Los Sosa Gorge. We will take a break in the town of El Mollar to visit Los Menhires Archaeological Reserve to learn about its prominent stone stelae.
After this stop, we will continue to Tafí del Valle. Upon arrival, we will head to a house for a ceramics workshop, where participants will learn to create characteristic pieces inspired by the native cultures of the Calchaquí Valleys.
After the ceramics workshop, you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch independently in the center of Tafí del Valle. Once we regroup, we will visit another house for a fabrics workshop, learning about the processes of dyeing, spinning, and weaving of different wools for garment production.
On our return journey, we will stop at the Tambo La Sofía Cheese Factory to see the production process and enjoy views of Tafí del Valle from their viewpoint.
We expect to return to the hotels in San Miguel de Tucumán after approximately 9 hours.
