San Pedro de Colalao Day Trip
After collecting you from your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán, we will head north towards the Celestino Gelsi Dam, also known as El Cadillal. Next to the dam is the Archaeological Museum of El Cadillal, where we will visit the permanent exhibition featuring ancient vessels, mortars, arrowheads, and tools of the Candelaria people from the 3rd to 7th centuries AD.
The tour continues to the village of Trancas, significant for its role in the independence of Argentina. We then arrive at San Pedro de Colalao, a key tourist municipality in the north.
We will also visit the Grotto of Lourdes, a replica of the cave in France, where you will learn about its history. Following this visit, you will have your own free time to enjoy the local gastronomy. After lunch, we will return you to your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán, arriving 8 hours after departure.
