Pickup is at your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán at 7:30 am. The first stop is the ruins of San José de Lules, where the Lules Indians were evangelized.

Free time is provided for lunch or to explore the 18th century Conjunto Jesuítico de La Banda. We will then ascend the Cumbres Calchaquíes mountains, leading to the ruins of Quilmes, where we learn about the Calchaqui Indians' resistance to Spanish conquerors.
Afterward, we drive for an hour to Cafayate, known for its vineyards. There, we will walk through the historic center and visit a winery for a wine tasting featuring the renowned Torrontés grape.
