Tafi del Valle and Quilmes Ruins Tour
After hotel pickup, the tour to Tafí del Valle and the Quilmes Ruins begins. A visit to a family winery is included, where you'll taste Argentinian wine.
The journey continues along the Quebrada de Los Sosa river until reaching El Mollar. This location features over 50 megalithic sculptures, surrounded by theories regarding their origin and meaning.
Next, we travel to Tafí del Valle, where free time is provided to explore the town and its natural surroundings, ideal for photographs.
Then, we proceed to El Infiernillo, the entry point to the Calchaquí Valley, known for its natural beauty.
From there, we'll visit the Sacred City of Quilmes, home to the Quilmes indigenous community. This area includes one of the largest pre-Columbian settlements in Argentina, the Quilmes Ruins, where the customs and traditions of the Quilmes Indians will be explained.
Following the Quilmes ruins, we head to Amaicha del Valle for a meal.
After lunch, we'll meet the Amaicha del Valley community to visit an indigenous winery. Veronica, a family member, will explain the wine production process, with the opportunity to taste the wine.
After 11.5 hours of activity, the bus will return you to your hotel.
