Tafí del Valle Trip

Departure from your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán is at 8:30 am. The first stop is the Jesuit ruins of San José de Lules, where you will learn about the Society of Jesus in Tucumán. The journey continues along Route 307.

You will cross the Los Sosa ravine to reach the El Chasqui sculpture, also known as the Monument to the Indian, honoring local native peoples. Here, you will learn about indigenous customs and traditions from pre-colonial times.

The route proceeds through the Tafí Valley along the La Angostura reservoir, stopping at El Mollar to visit the Archaeological Reserve of the Menhirs, which includes over 50 megalith stones dating back to 800 B.C., thought to symbolize fertility.

After visiting El Mollar, you'll travel to Tafí del Valle, where you'll have free time for lunch and to visit attractions like the La Banda Jesuit Complex. In the afternoon, a meetup at a viewpoint will allow for panoramic views of the Tafí Valley.

The return to your accommodation in San Miguel de Tucumán is scheduled for 4:30 pm.
