Trekking in La Malinche National Park



At 6 am, we will begin our journey with a pickup from your hotel in Cholula, embarking toward the state of Tlaxcala to reach La Malinche National Park for a 10-hour hiking adventure.



Upon entering the park, we will arrive at a hostel situated at an altitude of 3100 meters above sea level, where our hike will commence. Are you ready? We will ascend the mountainside, traversing through forests of oyamel, conifers, and pine trees, contending with slopes of up to 45 degrees!



Next, we will pause at a location known as Los Arenales, allowing time to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery. From this vantage point, we will get a closer view of the peak of La Malinche volcano.



The final leg of our journey will take us up to 4461 meters, and weather permitting, we may catch a glimpse of the volcanic chain: Citlaltépetl, Popocatépetl, and Iztaccíhuatl—a sight reminiscent of cinematic landscapes!



Finally, we will descend back to the hostel, where we will board our vehicles for the return trip to Cholula, with an estimated arrival time at your hotel around 7 pm.
