Salt Flats Route
Pickup will be at your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. We will head towards the Andes Mountains, traveling 150 kilometers by bus while having a light breakfast onboard. Observations of local flora and fauna will accompany our journey to the Licancabur volcano, which stands over 5,900 meters (19,356 feet) tall.
The tour will also feature the Quepiaco wetlands, situated at the volcanic mountain range's base. We'll stop for photos near the Monjes de la Pakana, geological formations shaped by wind erosion.
Lunch will be provided either en route (includes a main dish and a drink) or at a restaurant (includes a main dish, choice of two options, and a drink).
We will visit the salt flats of Aguas Calientes and Quisquiro, known for their extensive white beaches and stunning contrast with the Andean mountains. The tour includes a visit to Laguna Negra, after which we will return to San Pedro de Atacama, concluding approximately 7.5-8 hours later.
