Excursion to Baltinache Lagoons

At the agreed time, we will retrieve you from your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama and travel towards the Cordillera de la Sal, a stunning mountain range situated just south of San Pedro de Atacama.

Nestled at the base of these mountains are the Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache, a remarkable site consisting of seven saltwater pools. The distinctive outline of the Callo Salino enhances the surreal atmosphere, revealing one of the most breathtaking views in this region of Chile.

Upon arrival, you will have free time to soak in the spectacular scenery and enjoy a revitalizing swim. It's fascinating to note that the elevated salinity of these lagoons ensures you won’t sink, a phenomenon also observed in the renowned Dead Sea.

Subsequently, we will guide you to the picturesque Likan-Antay viewpoint for a romantic sunset that will leave you in awe! Please bear in mind that due to extended daylight hours, the opportunity to witness this sunset will not be available during the summer months in the southern hemisphere.

In conclusion, we will transport you back to the central square of San Pedro de Atacama approximately five hours after your initial pickup.
