Experience one of the most magical landscapes of Chile on this day trip to the Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache, a natural wonder where you can swim without sinking - a phenomenon found in very few parts of the world!

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama and head towards the Cordillera de la Sal, located a few kilometers south of San Pedro de Atacama.

At the foot of these mountains are the Lagunas Escondidas de Baltinache, composed of seven saltwater lagoons. The rugged silhouette of the Callo Salino creates an otherworldly scene.

Upon arrival, you will have free time to admire the landscape and swim, as the high salinity makes it impossible to sink, similar to the Dead Sea.

Afterward, we will take you to witness a sunset from the Likan-Antay viewpoint. Please note that the sunset viewing will not be available during the southern hemisphere summer due to longer days.

Finally, we will return you to the central square of San Pedro de Atacama, arriving 5 hours after the pickup.

Pickup Info

The day trip includes pickup from hotels within a radius of 3.10 miles (5 kilometers) from the center of San Pedro de Atacama. If your hotel is outside this area, we will pick you up at unit 2, 429B Tocopilla Street.
