Salt Mountains Day Trip

At the agreed time, we'll meet at unit 2, 429B Tocopilla Street in San Pedro de Atacama. From there, we'll travel to the spectacular Moon Valley and the Salt Mountains (“Cordillera de la Sal” in Spanish).

Upon arrival, we'll admire the geological marvel of the colourful Salt Mountains, shaped by wind erosion into a landscape of sand dunes and ancient salt rivers.

As we explore, we will see the remains of the Magic Bus, an ancient means of transport, and discuss its significance in this arid desert.

To conclude our experience, we will watch a sunset over the Salt Mountains, witnessing how the various hues illuminate the desert. A snack will be provided, including dried fruits, biscuits, juices, a bag of crisps, and a drink of your choice between beer and pisco sour.

After enjoying the Andean sunset, we will return to San Pedro de Atacama, dropping you off at the small square in the center of town or another central location after 4 hours of activity.
