Tatio Geysers & Machuca Lagoon Trip
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama and head to the most important geothermal site in Chile. After approximately an hour and a half, we arrive at El Tatio geyser field, located over 4,000 meters (13,000 ft) above sea level.
El Tatio is a highly visited location in the Atacama desert. Here, you will observe constant steam eruptions from more than 100 small craters. This site is the third-largest geyser field in the world. We will also visit thermal pools and enjoy breakfast while witnessing this geothermal activity at dawn.
After breakfast, we'll depart for the Machuca Lagoon, where we'll visit a wetland inhabited by a variety of highland birds such as flamingos and ducks.
Finally, we'll return to San Pedro de Atacama, concluding this 7 to 7.5-hour excursion with a drop-off in the town center.

This activity includes pickup from hotels within a 5-kilometer (3.1 miles) radius of San Pedro de Atacama.
