Uyuni Salt Flat 4-Day Tour

Day 1

We'll pick you up at your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama and head to the border with Bolivia. We will explore Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca, located in the Eduardo Avaroa National Park at 4,300 meters (14,107 feet). We will visit the Salvador Dalí Desert and the Morning Sun Geyser, followed by Laguna Colorada before reaching the community of Mallcu Villa Mar for the night.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will see the pre-Inca cave paintings of the Quechua culture and explore the Valley of Rocks. A visit to a small Chiguana salt flat completes the day at the hotel.

Day 3

We will enter the Uyuni Salt Flat and hike around Incahuasi Island, observing its cacti, Pilas de Sal, Ojos de Sal, and the first hotel made entirely of salt. We will visit the indigenous community of Colchani to learn about salt production and explore the Train Cemetery. The day ends in Villa Mar at a salt hotel.

Day 4

We will leave Bolivia early, traveling to San Pedro de Atacama, finishing the tour at your hotel around 1 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes 3 nights of accommodation with breakfast in shared rooms, with private bathrooms on the second night. Accommodation will be at Tierra Oculta hostel or similar for the first and third nights, and at Hostal Pedresal or similar for the second night.
