Ninhue & Buchupureo Excursion
At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Concepción and drive to the Chilean region of Ñuble.
We'll make a brief stop in Coelemu before arriving in Ninhue. On the outskirts lies San Agustín de Puñual, a hacienda where we'll visit the Cuna de Prat museum. Here, we will explore an exhibition dedicated to the gold rush and learn about naval hero Arturo Prat Chacón.
After visiting the museum, we'll head to Ninhue’s handicraft fair, known for its chupallas, traditional straw hats favored by local farmers.
Next, we will travel to Buchupureo, stopping at a restaurant overlooking the sea at the old port for one hour free for lunch. Following lunch, we will visit the area's papaya plantations.
During the tour, we will also take a walk along the coast of Buchupureo to see the famous rock church, which faces the Pacific Ocean.
Finally, we will visit the colony of sea lions at Cobquecura beach and return to your hotel in Concepción by 10:30 pm.
