Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, pickup will be from your hotel in Puerto Escondido. The journey north takes approximately 1.5 hours to reach El Zapotalito, the dock for our aquatic activities.

Board a speedboat with a roof and comfortable seating to explore the lagoons. This 1.5-hour ride includes sailing through mangrove tunnels and small islands while learning about the fauna and flora in this ecosystem, including migratory birds, river crocodiles, and various mangrove species.

Upon arrival at Chacahua Bay, enjoy an idyllic beach with crystal-clear waters for 3.5 hours of free time to swim, sunbathe, or explore. Local restaurants offer the opportunity to sample the regional cuisine, recommended is the thinly sliced fish.

Finally, return by speedboat to El Zapotalito, appreciating the lagoon's natural beauty, and travel back to Puerto Escondido by land, concluding after a total of 9 hours.
