Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up fromyour hotel in Puerto Escondido and drive for 1.5 hours to reachChacahua Lagoon National Park. We will arrive atEl Zapotalito, the dock where we begin ouraquatic travels.

We will board a speedboat with a roof and comfortable seating for a 1.5-hour exploration of the lagoons. We will navigate throughmangrove tunnels and amongstsmall islands while providing information about thefauna and flora in this ecosystem, including migratorybirds, rivercrocodiles, and various mangrove species.

Upon reaching Chacahua Bay, you will have 3.5 hours offree time to swim, relax, or explore the area. You may also try local dishes at one of the seafront restaurants, with recommendations includingthinly sliced fish.

Finally, we will return by speedboat to El Zapotalito, enjoying the lagoon's beauty once more, before heading back to Puerto Escondido by land. The tour concludes after a total of 9 hours at your accommodation.
