Laguna de Manialtepec Kayak Tour

On this kayak tour through the Laguna de Manialtepec, we'll paddle along its canals and discover Oaxaca's flora and fauna.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Escondido and head for the village of Las Negras, on the shores of the Laguna de Manialtepec.

After a 20-minute drive, we'll reach the starting point of our route. We'll listen to the instructor's explanations and receive tips for kayaking before we proceed.

We'll board a speedboat to the starting point of the kayak tour and begin paddling through the Manialtepec River Sanctuary. The guide will lead us through the canals amidst the area's dense vegetation.

The tour includes a visit to Carnero, a habitat for numerous migratory birds like American storks, roseate spoonbills, cormorants, ibis, caracaras, frigatebirds, and herons. Additionally, we will stop at Puerto Suelo beach to relax and enjoy the landscape.

We will return to the starting point and then to your hotel in Puerto Escondido, concluding the tour after 6 hours of activity.
