Night Tour of the Manialtepec Lagoon

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Escondido at approximately 7:30 pm and travel to the Manialtepec Lagoon. After about an hour and a half, as the last rays of sunlight fade, you will witness one of the natural world's most impressive sights.

The lagoon is renowned for its spectacular bioluminescence, where microorganisms in the lake emit light with the slightest movement. You can swim in the water, and upon body contact, these organisms will glow, creating the illusion that your body is producing the luminescent effect!

Once off the boat, you will spend a little over an hour in this magical environment, relaxing and enjoying the evening amidst the sounds of nature. This experience provides a perfect opportunity to relax and unwind.

After the visit, we will return to the hotels in Puerto Escondido, arriving around 10 pm.
