Santa Catarina Juquila Private Day Trip

At 7 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Escondido and drive to Santa Catarina Juquila. The drive to this Pueblo Magico should take about 2 hours.

Upon arrival, we'll visit the Immaculate Shrine of Our Lady of Juquila, built between the 18th and 19th centuries, featuring two towers and a large half-orange dome. Inside, you will find Our Lady of Juquila, the second patron saint of Oaxaca. You will learn about the miracle that made her one of Mexico's most venerated figures.

Afterwards, we'll head to the municipal market, where you can see various handicrafts and traditional regional products. You will have 45 minutes of free time to have lunch at the market or in a local restaurant.

Following lunch, we'll visit Our Lady of Juquila Pedimiento, where you can observe the congregation and their traditions, including clay figures that represent their wishes.

We will then return to your hotel in Puerto Escondido at 5:30 pm.
