Enjoy a unique experience, participating in the release of recently hatched turtles on Colotepec Beach, near Puerto Escondido.

Turtle Release Experience

Upon pickup, we will travel to Colotepec, located 25 minutes from Puerto Escondido, through a landscape of papaya and banana plantations. The tour visits a turtle protection centre, which focuses on four endangered species: Leatherback, Olive Ridley, Galápagos Green, and Hawksbill turtles. Participants will learn about the center's conservation efforts and assist in releasing newly hatched turtles into the sea. The experience concludes with a sunset over Colotepec Beach, followed by a return to hotels in Puerto Escondido.
