San Quirico & Bagno Vignoni Private Tour

At the time of your choice, you'll meet your guide on Via Poliziano. From there you'll begin a walking tour of San Quirico d'Orcia to discover the main charms of this Tuscan town.

We'll discuss the significance of this town during the Middle Ages as a welcome place for pilgrims traveling to Rome along the Via Francigena.

You'll see the Collegiate Church of San Quirico, a Romanesque temple with three elaborately decorated porticoes from different periods, and the Church of San Francesco. We'll also check out the Horti Leonini, featuring a statue in honor of Cosimo III de Medici and ruins of the Cassero tower, destroyed during World War II.

At the end of the San Quirico d'Orcia tour, you'll take your vehicle or public transport to reach Bagno Vignoni, located just 6 kilometers away.

Upon arrival, we'll start a guided tour to explore Bagno Vignoni, noted for its curious main square, which is a large hot springs basin. We will discuss the links between this village and the nun Catherine of Siena.

After three hours of sightseeing, we'll conclude the private tour in the center of Bagno Vignoni. You can also take a dip in the thermal baths at the end of the tour if you wish!
