At the time of your choice, you'll meet your guide on Via Poliziano. From there, you'll begin a walking tour of San Quirico d'Orcia that will lead you to the main charms of this Tuscan town.
We'll discuss the significance of this town during the Middle Ages as a place of welcome for pilgrims traveling to Rome along the Via Francigena.
You will see the Collegiate Church of San Quirico, notable for its three elaborately decorated porticoes, and the Church of San Francesco. Additionally, we'll visit the Horti Leonini, featuring a statue in honor of Cosimo III de Medici and ruins of the Cassero tower, destroyed during World War II.
At the end of the private tour of San Quirico d'Orcia, you'll take your own vehicle or use public transport to reach Bagno Vignoni, located just 6 kilometers away.
Upon arrival, we'll start a guided tour to explore Bagno Vignoni's charming locations, including its unique main square, which is a large hot springs basin. We'll also discuss the village's connection to nun Catherine of Siena.
